Memberships cannot be transferred from one person to another, not even from one family member to another.

There are several ways to cancel:

• Contact us – send an email with your request. 
• Add-on Memberships:
  If you no longer wish to be financially responsible for additional members attached to your memberships please submit a cancellation for each additional member. If you do not submit a request for cancellation for your add-on members their memberships will remain active and you will continue to be billed.

Cancellation within 3 – 5 days of initial purchase:

You are entitled to a 3-day (5 days in CA and HI) cooling off period, meaning that if you notify Atos HQ within 5 days, you will receive a full refund. To understand the details of your cooling off period, please review your membership agreement carefully.

 

Monthly payment memberships:

Where you have a monthly payment membership (that is not for a specified term or commitment period), you may cancel by providing notice to ATOS BJJ HQ in writing or in person at our academy. Upon your request to cancel, future monthly payments will be stopped, and your last month’s prepaid dues will be applied. Please review your specific membership agreement for a complete explanation of cancellation rights.

 

Commitment Monthly Payment memberships:

During the Commitment Period: Where you have a Commitment Monthly Payment membership, you are not entitled to cancel your membership during the Commitment Period (even though you are making monthly payments). The Commitment Period can be found on the first page of your membership agreement. Specific exceptions may apply, allowing you to cancel your membership where certain events specified by your membership agreement take place, such as death, disability, relocation (subject to certain conditions) or military deployment.

 

After the Commitment Period: You may cancel by providing notice to Atos BJJ HQ either in writing or in person at our academy. Upon your request to cancel, future monthly payments will be stopped, and your last month’s prepaid dues will be applied. Please review your specific membership agreement for a complete explanation of cancellation rights.

 

Yearly Auto-Renewal, Limited-Term/Paid in Full (non-renewable), and Prepaid memberships:

Upon receipt of your request to cancel your Yearly Auto-Renewal, Limited-Term or Prepaid membership, your club access and membership will end at the end of your current paid term. You are not entitled to receive a refund of fees paid. Specific exceptions may also apply, allowing you to cancel your membership where certain events specified by your membership agreement take place, such as death, disability, relocation (subject to certain conditions) or military deployment. The length of your term or prepaid period can be found on the first page of your membership agreement. Please review your specific membership agreement for a complete explanation of cancellation rights.

You can find our membership policies in the copy of your membership agreement provided upon signing up. If you need another copy of your agreement, please email us at staff@atosjiujitsuhq.com to request it.

There may be other options available to you. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation or email us to submit your freeze request.

Generally, a membership freeze is set for a pre-determined amount of time. As such, the freeze will automatically end at the designated time, at which point your account will reactivate and your membership dues billing will resume as usual. If you would like to end the freeze earlier, please contact your local club, or email us to submit your reactivation request.

You may request a one-month courtesy freeze if you are a Monthly Payment member.

**NOTE THAT THIS QUOTE IS FOR THE FUTURE: “To do this: log into ATOS HQ APP and open the My Account menu in the upper right navigation, then click “FREEZE MEMBERSHIP.”

Please note that your membership must be active and you must be a member in good standing to be placed on freeze.

Extended freezes may be available if one of the following factors apply:

• Medical – a temporary medical situation which renders you unable to use the academy for a specified amount of time.
• Work Transfer – a temporary out-of-area work transfer that takes you more than 50 miles from ATOS HQ SAN DIEGO, CA facility.
• Volunteer Work – a temporary extended volunteer program that takes you more than 50 miles from ATOS HQ SAN DIEGO, CA facility.
• Military – a temporary active-duty military transfer or deployment to a location more than 50 miles from ATOS HQ SAN DIEGO, CA facility.

Please note: a membership freeze is valid for a specified amount of time. Verification may be required in order to freeze your account.

You can pay your annual renewal using any of the following methods:

• Log into your Atos Account online
• Visit Atos HQ San Diego – CA
• Call us: 858-202-5040
• Mail a check to: Atos Jiu-Jitsu HQ – 4810 Mercury St San Diego, CA 92111

Your annual renewal payment is due on or before your renewal anniversary date. If payment in full is not received by your due date (30 day notice), your membership will automatically terminate. Once terminated, you will need to purchase a new membership to continue accessing our academy and services.

For prepaid memberships that include optional annual renewal, payment is due before the “next annual renewal date” listed on your membership agreement. A notice will be emailed to you before your due date. If we do not have a valid email address on file, your notice will be mailed. To ensure timely delivery, please verify that your address is correct, please contact our academy.

*If you have a Yearly Auto-Renewal membership, please see above for information regarding your payment terms.

Yearly Auto-Renewal memberships will renew automatically each year provided your payment method on file is current. Monthly Payment memberships renew each month. 

If you need to update your bank account information or change your automatic payment from your bank account, please log into ATOS HQ SYSTEM or visit our academy. You may also call us: 858-292-5040.

You can have your monthly dues electronically deducted from either your checking account or a debit/credit card account. This is known as electronic funds transfer (EFT). Or, with some memberships, you prepay your membership at the time of enrollment.

Members have the following options:

• Log into your Atos HQ Account online (i want to make it online, we don’t have yet, but thats the goal)
• Visit your local academy
• Call us: 858-292-5040

Yes, you can bring a friend to train. Friends or guests 16 years old and below must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If they are a San Diego resident, they should contact us at 858-292-5040 to set up their free trial. Your friend will need to arrive at the academy with you and present a photo ID at the front desk. A team member will assist them in completing our guest check-in process.

Please check with your academy for the latest guidelines on face mask and vaccination requirements before your guest’s visit.

Touch-Free Check-In allows members to check into Atos HQ Academy in San Diego using the free Atos HQ App. To check in touch-free:

• Download our ATOS HQ ® app from the App Store or Google Play “HERE”.
  
• When you arrive at the club, open your ATOS HQ APP and tap Check IN.
  
• Show the screen to a team member.
• If you don’t have a smartphone or forget to bring your smartphone with you, you can still check in at the front desk by asking a team member to manually check you in.
• If you are using your “Buddy Pass” to bring a guest to the club, for the guest’s first visit, show your guest’s photo ID to a team member to complete their check-in process.
• For additional support regarding Touch-Free Check-in via our ATOS HQ App, please email staff@atosjiujitsuhq.com.

Your membership will give you access to the location you have joined. Atos membership will give you 50% discount on any class purchase at Atos HQ (except private lessons).

When enrolling online, you can purchase a membership at any Atos Academy near your residence. But if you joined Atos HQ San Diego Location you will be able to get FREE access to our online classes.
